This weekend sees traveling convention franchise Nostalgia Con — one of a cluster of fandom event brands hitting the City Beautiful this month — setting up shop at the Convention Center with a roster of celebrity guests tailor-made for pop-culture savvy Millennials and “younger” Gen Xers.

So yes, there will be an army of voice actors and animation types — including Matthew Jenkins from Adult Swim — but then you’ve also got the likes of a freshly-unshackled-from-WWE Mick Foley (you may know him as Cactus Jack or Mankind); Power Rangers Karan Ashley and Steve Cardenas; and a cadre of actors from iconic family viewing Full House including John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin and Lori Loughlin. The very opposite of “how rude.”

Friday-Sunday, Aug. 7-9, Orange Country Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, thenostalgiacon.com, $29-$205.
