Enzian Theater is screening a cult-classic Godzilla film (not) just for the kids later this month.

As part of the Enzian’s ongoing Peanut Butter Matinee Family Film series, one of the most outright bonkers of the early Godzilla films will return to Maitland’s big screen on Aug. 29: Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, from 1968.

“Massive armies versus mad monsters for possession of planet Earth!” screamed the trailer, and it isn’t false advertising.

The movie event culminates in a massive slugfest between King Ghidorah against Godzilla, Minilla, Mothra, Rodan, Gorosaurus, Anguirus, and Kumonga (Avengers-level collective, but objectively better). Pure quality.

Tickets are available now through the Enzian website.
