Creative City Project’s twin spooky season haunts, Haunting Nights and Happy Frights, are back in (horror) business this weekend after a delay due to Hurricane Milton damage.

Leu Gardens in general and the Creative City installations both got dinged up and damaged when the outer edges of Milton blew through the Orlando area last week. But after several days hard at work, both the Gardens proper and now Happy Frights and Haunted Nights are ready to go.

Just to re-emphasize, Happy Frights is intended for the kids, complete with some trick-or-treating. But once the sun sets, sayeth Seth Kubersky, “those smiling faces are replaced by sinister fiends, as fog machines and dramatic lighting transform the forest from a fairy-tale glade into a ghoulish gantlet.”

Happy Frights and Haunted Nights restarts Friday, Oct.18 and runs through Oct. 31 on select days/nights at Harry P. Leu Gardens.
