Johnny Depp randomly appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride

To the complete surprise of guests, the real Johnny Depp (as opposed to the animatronic version) showed up randomly as Jack Sparrow at Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride yesterday.

Though Disney has yet to acknowledge the spontaneous cameo, Depp’s appearance likely had something to do with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is coming to theaters next month.
