Normally, I wouldn’t consider a hired-gun assignment shooting a B’Nai Mitzvah a “short,” but this video, shot by Emerson College film student Justin Amorratanasuchad, who tragically fell to his death while attempting a rooftop shot over the weekend, makes the most of the project. Amorratanasuchad, 21, spins a poignant snapshot with, according to his notes, “16mm black and white Tri-x reversal film with a Bolex camera.”
What a loss.
