Fanboy Expo brings famous faces in film, animation, rock and wrestling to Orlando

Of the now overstuffed field of yearly fandom conventions in Orlando, Fanboy Expo is arguably the most delightfully unhinged in terms of their celebrity guests. When other cons play it safe with big properties and franchises, Fanboy takes a hard left into Nicheville.

This year’s celebrity roster features partial cast reunions from The Hobbit, The Highlander, Mortal Kombat, and Randy Quaid from National Lampoon’s various Vacations, as well as (get ready for these next four) Delta Burke, Patrick Warburton, Kate Mulgrew and John “Cliff Clavin” Ratzenberger. But then things get really wild in the form of musical guests like Peter Criss from KISS and (holy crap) Dave Davies from the Kinks and Lita Ford from the Runaways. That’s some curation.
