CityArts in downtown Orlando celebrates spooky season with an aesthetic twist this week, hosting their annual Día de los Muertos & Monster Party.
There’s a whole lot of wonderment to experience here on a weeknight, so venture down Pine Street — if you dare — for a seasonal smash that features a Day of the Dead and Halloween-inspired group art show turning several galleries in CityArts into chilling and fantastical multimedia phantasmagorias.
Once you catch your breath, head outside to the patio area for a terrifying soiree featuring live music, food, spirits (heh heh), costumes and creepy wares from vendors. This is the 15th year for this tradition, and that’s saying something. (Saying “boo!” more than likely.)
6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, CityArts, $5-$50.
