Walt Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon might be getting a brand new water ride.
According to the to Orlando Business Journal, the park is expected to expand 2.28 acres with plans for a new guest area, which apparently includes the first new water ride in nearly a decade.
Not a lot of info is available at the moment, but the water ride being considered is “a new family raft ride” which would include an “elevated flume/track.”
Nothing has officially been announced yet from Disney, but they have filed permits with the South Florida Water Management District.
Although no exact date for when park go-ers can expect the new additions, the expansion is speculated to be ready in 2017.
