The Hindu festival of colors, also known as Holi, is celebrated every spring in honor of the triumph of good over evil, which might feel a little counterintuitive right now because the evil of pollen is flourishing. Nevertheless, the Orlando Holi Festival promises to be a vibrant celebration, allergies and all. People will toss colored powder and water at each other while Bollywood music plays in the background (and sets us all up for a Ram-Leela meet-cute). Expect delicious food and a lot more traditional dancing. While the admission is free at the Orlando Holi Festival, parking is $10, so Lyft accordingly.
