Orlando artists explore myth-making in Casselberry Credit: Courtesy image
Casselberry Arts Center this week opens a new group exhibition, Experience Contemporary Myth and Storytelling, with a heavy lineup of local artists — Boy Kong, Emily Martinez, Libbi Ponce and Tom Rosenow — working in sculpture, paint and prints, all taking on the age-old art of myth-making and storytelling.

The artists will be exhibiting new work that often takes on familiar archetypes and objects, while simultaneously creating new and personal narratives.

Sure to be eye-opening and runs though mid-November.

6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, Casselberry Arts Center, 137 Quail Pond Circle, Casselberry, casselberry.org, free.
