Blue Man Group has postponed the start of its Orlando show once again.

After a welcome ceremony and groundbreaking last September for the blue-hued international entertainment group’s return to Orlando, the Blue Man Group has delayed its previously scheduled April 3 opening at its new 580-seat Icon Park theater.

The theater is reportedly not completed, according to an email sent to ticket holders that promises full refunds, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The earliest date available for ticket purchases online is May 29, and the group’s official website now says the Orlando experience is simply “coming soon.”

The Blue Man Group announced its homecoming in June 2024, after a five-year absence from the city where it had maintained a 14-year performance residency at Universal CityWalk. The initial goal was to be completed by the end of 2024.

The new theater will be located under the 20-acre entertainment district’s Orlando Eye.

Blue Man Group got its speechless, percussion-fueled start in New York City in 1987. It closed its New York City show in January, but maintains shows in Berlin, Boston, Las Vegas and Shanghai.
