Orlando artist Doug Rhodehamel’s newest immersive installation, Flight of the Picklefish, opened this weekend at the Casselberry Sculpture House. The installation is a whimsical and otherworldly environment inspired by Rhodehamel’s longtime friendship with much-missed local culture mover Dave Plotkin. There were plenty of familiar faces — there is a healthy intersection between art-heads, Rhodehamel compatriots, and old friends of Plotkin — at the opening. Flight of the Picklefish runs through August.
