Obviously drag is well-established in the two provinces of nightlife and weekend brunch, but hear us out: How about pairing some drag with your noontime meal? You could sleep in a little more and still avoid the nighttime parking boondoggles downtown.
So Anthem downtown is going all-in on this experiment with a drag lunch featuring fearsome local talent Puerto Rican drag artist and RuPaul’s Drag Race competitor Kandy Ho. Local talent includes the ferocious quartet of Mala Mía, Black Magix Royal, Amaya Scandall and Jezy Galore. Shows are at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., with a meet-and-greet beforehand. Do some errands before; be errant after; the possibilities are endless.
