America’s Got Talent auditions coming to Orlando on Feb. 19

Perhaps you just learned that Simon Cowell has joined the esteemed judging panel (which also includes Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B) for the next season of America’s Got Talent, and perhaps you have a fetish for being berated by middle-aged British men. If so, you might be interested to now that the reality/talent show is bringing its traveling auditions circus to Orlando on Feb. 19 for an open call. 

All you have to do to take part is register online and you’ll receive an email with login information for the audition site. Once you’re in, fill out your profile, select your preferred audition time and select the kind of “talent” you’ll be showing off. The first 1,000 people to register will get first dibs on preferred audition slots – after that, you’ll have to take what you can get – and there is a big long contract full of legalese that you’ll have to sign and bring with you on the day of your audition. 

Auditions take place at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

And remember – you don’t really have to have any talent at all to audition. You might even make it to TV. Good luck.
