The Amazing Acro Cats, stars of Netflix’s Cat People and performers of tricks only when the mood hits them, are making their annual return to Orlando.
The Acro Cats can perform feats as varied as “riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, ringing bells, balancing on balls” and playing as both the Rock Cats and Jazz Cats band.
The members of the Acro Cats troupe are all orphans, former strays and rescues who have been taken in by the Rock Cats Rescue nonprofit, and now tour the country playing music and (maybe) doing tricks.
The Acro Cats take the Orlando Family stage from Jan. 24-26 for seven shows. Tickets are available via PurplePass (it’s real). There’s also a special training class being offered by Acro Cats honcho Samantha Martin at the (not-in-Orlando) Orlando Cat Cafe set for Jan. 22.
