Too hot to brave a theme park? Too rainy to take a swim or hike a trail? You can count on a Central Florida summer to bring either soaring temperatures, nonstop rain or a little bit of both.
Whether you’re looking to entertain the kiddos or just fill up a summer day, there are plenty of indoor, air-conditioned activities to do around Orlando when being outside isn’t an option. Speed through go-kart tracks, catch a live jazz concert, dive into some regional art and history or even skydive inside. Here are 22 of the best indoor activities to do in Orlando this summer.

Chow down at East End Market
3201 Corrine Drive, OrlandoThe Central Florida food hub and neighborhood market is jam-packed with food ranging from savory meats to tasty vegan biscuits, giant cookies, craft-roasted Lineage coffee and an upstairs cocktail bar. There’s a patio outside for extra seating, but for too-hot or too-rainy days, we’re planting ourselves right inside to enjoy seemingly endless food and shopping options. Conquer a meal at Medieval Times
4510 W. Vine St., KissimmeeYou don’t have to re-watch Game of Thrones to get in the medieval mood. Right here in Orlando we’ve got jousting knights, mass amounts of bourgeois screaming for bloodshed, and the expectation that you’ll eat with your hands. If that last part’s got you twisted, drink away your reluctance with a strawberry Maiden’s Kiss. Credit: Photo via Medieval Times/Facebook

Enzian Theater
1300 S. Orlando Ave., MaitlandThis art house theater in Maitland seems relatively normal, right? Wrong! At around 1 a.m. on some moonless nights, a screaming disembodied head has been spotted in the north corner of the building before it disappears into the kitchen. Credit: Photo via the Enzian
