They say that a person of any size can overcome a person larger than them using proper techniques, which is what they strive to teach you. You’ll drum your way around as if you were part of Warp Tour, or maybe a really serious drumline, all while burning more than 900 calories per hour. All fitness levels are welcome, whether you’ve recently become motivated to start up exercising or you’re a seasoned health pro. You might want to get a little experience with leisurely stand up paddleboarding before you attempt to workout on one, but it’s up to you. Take an Aerial Silks Class 6700 Kingspointe Pkwy, Orlando, 863-414-8061 If you aspire to become part of Cirque du Soleil or maybe just want to imitate the cool-looking aerial dancers at your favorite pop star’s Grammy performance, Orlando Aerial Arts is a good starting point. All of their aerial silk classes are open to people of all levels and beginners start off with just some basic climbs and poses on the silks. Take a rock climbing class 999 Charles St. Longwood, 407-332-1430 Aiguille Rock Climbing Center isn’t just recreational. If you seriously want to learn how to climb (and get a bonus workout), they also offer technique classes. They’ll teach you specific skills needed for different types of rock climbing, like bouldering, top rope and lead climbing. Russian Ballet Orlando offers a variety of different classes open to dancers of all levels, including beginners.
