Thornton Park restaurant Tre Bambine has closed just a couple of months after opening their doors.

Located in the space that previously housed Spice Modern Steakhouse next to Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Tre Bambine Modern Italian Bacaro opened Feb. 26, but owner Jacquelyn Angiulli says they “just couldn’t make it work,” adding, “I am very sorry and sad.”

In our first report on Orlando’s first bàcaro in March 2018, we predicted Tre Bambine would be “a popular hang for the downtown set and lovers of Italian food alike … The waterfront view of Lake Eola can only help.” We’re sorry to see it go.
