Cows ’n Cabs is saddling up for its 14th annual culinary extravaganza and pulls some of Central Florida’s finest restaurants, an impressive amount of booze and enough country-themed decorations to make you forget you’re wearing cowboy boots in the middle of concrete jungle Winter Park.
The festivities begin Thursday, Nov. 5, with Tapas & ’Tinis, an intimate affair featuring small plates and handcrafted martinis for just 300 guests in the heart of Winter Park. But come Saturday, Nov. 7, all bets are off. More than 30 restaurants and 60 beverage vendors descend upon Central Park’s West Meadow for an evening of indulgence, complete with live country music and plenty of opportunities to go back for seconds. Or thirds. We’re not judging.
And before you start questioning your financial decisions, remember that this is philanthropy. Proceeds benefit local children’s charities, including 4Roots, After-School All-Stars and Winter Park Day Nursery. So dust off those boots, loosen that belt and raise a glass.
