It might only be spring, but spooky season is already creeping into Central Florida.
Walt Disney World has unveiled dates and new details for its annual Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, returning to Magic Kingdom with its earliest start date yet.
The separately ticketed, after-hours event will begin Aug. 7 and run on select nights through Oct. 31, giving guests nearly three months to live out their Halloween dreams.
A staple of Orlando’s fall theme park lineup, the party blends family-friendly Halloween festivities with character experiences and special seasonal treats. Guests can expect trick-or-treat stations throughout the park, themed food and drinks, and rare character meet-and-greets featuring fan favorites dressed in seasonal costumes.
New in 2026, Stitch will headline a dance party in Tomorrowland alongside Lilo and Angel, taking over Rocket Tower Plaza Stage with music, costumes and high-energy performances designed to keep the party going late into the night.
Returning entertainment includes the “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” the Sanderson Sisters-led Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show at Cinderella Castle, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, which lights up the park with projections, lasers and pyrotechnics. Disney also teased the return of roaming villains, adding a slightly mischievous twist to the otherwise kid-friendly event.
The party will run for 38 select nights across August, September and October, with dates spread throughout the week and weekends as Halloween approaches.
Tickets go on sale May 12 for the general public, while guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels can purchase early beginning May 5. Pricing will vary by date, ranging from $119 to $229, with discounts available for annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
As Orlando’s theme parks continue to expand seasonal offerings, Disney’s early-August launch signals just how competitive — and increasingly extended — Halloween season has become in Central Florida.
