The annual and venerable Strawberry Festival in Plant City kicks off this week – Thursday, Feb. 26 to be exact – and aside from strawberry-themed delights and diversions like the Berry Big Wheel and deep-fried strawberry shortcake, there will be a whole lot of live music.
Concerts will run daily for the full 11 days of the Strawberry Festival featuring a lot of country acts, sure, but there are some definite surprises in there. (Joan Jett! Ginuwine!) Tickets for concerts are separate from Strawberry Festival admission, but most are fairly conservative in terms of pricing.
