Some say eating is a sport and ya gotta train for it – so before next week’s turkey-and-pie bonanza, here are a couple of opportunities to stretch those chow-down muscles, both happening this Friday, Nov. 20.

FOOD TRUCK FAMILY NIGHT:
The monthly Food Truck night gets special this Friday as a celebration of Artegon Marketplace’s one-year anniversary. Plushies may be excited to learn about meet-and-greet opportunities with three local sports mascots: UCF’s Knightro, the Orlando Magic’s Stuff and the Solar Bears’ Shades. This is a family event, thought, so don’t get too excited.
5-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Artegon Marketplace, 5250 International Drive

FALL HARVEST DINNER:
Also this Friday, the Fall Harvest Dinner, prepared by chef Jessica Tantalo, takes place at East End Market. Chef Tantalo will work with local meat and produce from Tomazin Farm, East End’s Garden, Fleet Farming, Frog Song Organics, Wild Ocean Seafood, Lake Meadow Naturals and more. Libations include a seasonal local cocktail by Winter Park Distilling, beer on draught from Local Roots, and a cash gin bar curated by Txokos Basque Kitchen. Cost is $79.88 per person.
7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at East End Market, 3201 Corrine Drive
