Shopping will soon be even more of a pleasure for Publix shoppers with the grocery delivery service Shipt.
For an initial $49, registered Shipt users can order grocery items (including Pub Subs!) via the app or online and “Reliable Shoppers” will deliver the groceries as soon as an hour later.
According to Shipt, the Shoppers “can pick a perfect mango with their eyes closed and navigate 40,000 grocery items faster than you can say “Organic Gluten-free Pastry Flour.” And we thought we had the aisles of Publix mastered.
Shipt, which already provides services in Nashville, Dallas and Birmingham, Alabama, is set to expand to Tampa starting August 4, according to WFTV.
More than likely this service will be available in Orlando. However, it’s unknown when Shipt will expand to the rest of Central Florida. So for now, Orlandonians will have to continue to brave the deli aisle fights.
