Konbini, the Japanese-style convenience store run by the Kappo chef-owners in their old East End Market space, is throwing a holiday barbecue this weekend.

Join them Sunday, May 29, from noon to 4 p.m. as they take over the East End Market courtyard to grill up and serve BBQ on a stick, rice, Japanese beers and harumaki (spring rolls).
