FestN4, a curated Winter mini-festival by Orlando Fringe, kicks off this week featuring more than 20 shows by returning Fringe artists and brand-new creatives.

Shows include local productions like “Psych! A Diagnostic Stand-up Therapy Comedy Show” and “Your Mom’s in My Top 8: A Pop-Punk Celebration.” There will also be national shows, including “Furniture Boys” from New York City and “Suff(rage)” from Oxford, Mississippi, as well as international productions such as “Colonial Circus: A Hysterical Show on the History of Colonization” from Ontario.

The festival features offshoot programming like the FestN4 Teaser Show, Fringe AfterDark: WTF(ringe) Cabaret and the FestN4 Awards.

Despite the oft-madcap nature of these shows, there’s going to be a bittersweet undercurrent this year. It’s pretty much the last hurrah of the ArtSpace venue in downtown Orlando, which the Fringe organization is shutting down in the coming weeks, due to a litany of misfortunes fiscal and logistical and even an act of G-d.

Various times Wednesday-Sunday, Jan. 8-12, Fringe ArtSpace, 54 W. Church St., orlandofringe.org, $15.
