A very enthusiastic crowd came out for Skegss and Twen at the Beacham Thursday evening. There was lots of dancing, slamming, crowdsurfing, pep rally-style T-shirts and sing-alongs to almost every Skegss number.
Openers Twen impressed with a tight, polished sound that kept the crowd moving. And we spotted former Synthetics member Camden on bass guitar duties for the night!
Skegss are a laidback and groovy indie-rock band from Australia — think The Strokes or The Growlers playing slacker party anthems. Skateboarders love them, as do the folks in the crowd wearing shirts that spelled out the group’s name. Good on ya.
