Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been attempting to pull off a successful villains event for years now. After failings so severe that Disney offered refunds to guests earlier this year, the (barely) half-day park finally was able to succeed in hosting a hard ticket villains event that people left satisfied with.

Using the recently opened Sunset Showcase black box theater, Club Villain includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of shrimp, strip-loin of beef, chicken gumbo and more including numerous desserts. Four specialty booze drinks are also included, as is a glass of champagne at check-in.

The evening is filled mostly with a show hosted by Dr. Facilier (from The Princess and the Frog), that includes dance routines accented by projections on the walls surrounding the dining room. Four different rarely seen villains are available for meet-and-greets at the event. Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, the Evil Queen, and Cruella De Vil are currently listed at the villains, though it should be noted that the lineup could change at any time.

After receiving rave reviews for the event last month, Disney announced that it will be returning for more dates. The event now stretches into March, but with Disney being Disney, the $99 dinner show (park admission not included and required) has now jumped to $129. In less than a month after opening the event has jumped $30 (and here people complain about rent prices rising in Central Florida).

Club Villain is currently running through the end of March every Tuesday and Saturday with two seatings each night. Currently, there is no word on if the show will continue after the end of March.
