One of the iconic swan boats of downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park got a redesign, making it the lake’s first wheelchair-accessible swan paddle boat.

The city unveiled the revamped watercraft on Thursday at the lake with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and City Commissioner Patty Sheehan in attendance, according to a City of Orlando press release. The new renovated swan boat and refurbished dock were funded by donations from the Rotary Club of Orlando.

"This was a great way to kick off the July 4th weekend in Lake Eola Park," said Dyer in a statement. "In Orlando, we take pride in being a city for everyone, and this new amenity helps us bring even more options to our residents and visitors."

Lake Eola Park has a flock of eight swan boats that you can rent for $15 per half hour every day of the week. The lake averages about 150 swan boat rentals during July 4, so make sure you get your chance this weekend to ride one.
