Because nothing could possibly go wrong, Ron Perkinson, owner of Volusia Top Gun is hoping to open a gun range in Daytona Beach that also slings drinks.

Essentially, the idea is to have a gun range with a separate, but attached, cafe that serves both food and alcohol.

Perkinson, who is confident that the the mixture of guns and alcohol is a good idea, told WFTV that customers who've been drinking will not be allowed to use the gun range. He also pointed out that "guns, whether you're planning to have a drink afterwards or not, will not be allowed in the café area at all."

Perkins claims that customers who want to have a drink will have to swipe their ID, which would then prevent them from entering the run range side of the business for 24 hours.

If approved by city authorities, the concept would be the third of it's kind in the country and would be located next to the Daytona Flea Market on Interstate 95 and International Speedway Boulevard.
