Total Punk isn't about sponsors or begging for donations; its ethos are completely as DIY as the hand-stamped labels on the punk label's coveted, collectible vinyl releases, and when I spoke to label owner Rich Evans last year, he said he'd be willing to go all-in and hold a second Total Fuck Off music festival in Orlando if the first one went well and he came close to breaking even. Well, as anyone who made it out to the crazed, beer-funneled fun weekend knows, it was a smash(ed) success, and so the second (annual?) Total Fuck Off is officially on the books for Friday, March 27 at Uncle Lou's and Will's Pub (more venues likely to be announced). (RSVP!)

At the top of the bill is short-lived but way esteemed NYC punk band Action Swingers (whose former members have included J. Mascis, former Unsane bassist Pete Shore and Pussy Galore's Julia Cafritz). Listen to their 1994 compilation, Quit While You're Ahead, here:

Other bands on the bill includes some awesome acts we saw last year, like Gary Wrong Group, Buck Biloxi and the Fucks, and Manatees, plus seriously rad offerings from places as far-flung as Finland like the lo-fi punk presence of the Achtungs (listen to their new Total Punk 7-inch below).

The rest of the lineup so far isn't exactly slouching, featuring Lumpy and the Dumpers and Vatican Daggers from New Orleans, Foster Care (NYC), Black Panties (St. Louis) and Slugga (ATL). For a glimpse and a grimace of what's in store, check out this video of Lumpy and the Dumpers performing in New York earlier this year:
