The last (and first) time Gorillaz played the City Beautiful was of the final date of their first U.S. run. back in 2022. This time they’re doing the exact opposite — fittingly for quartet of animated post-modern rockers that upend so many pop orthodoxies — and playing the first show of their tour at the Kia Center.
