Central Florida commuter rail system Sunrail announced on Wednesday afternoon that service will be suspended on Thursday in preparation for possible effects of Hurricane Eta.

Any further service disruptions or changes due to Eta will be posted to Sunrail’s social media.

Hurricane Eta is projected to make landfall in Florida on Thursday. Gov DeSantis on Wednesday expanded a state of emergency order to include the counties of Alachua, Citrus, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hernando, Hillsborough, Levy, Manatee, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Sarasota and Sumter.
