Punk in the Park traveling music festival has canceled all of its 2026 events, including one in Orlando, after the company’s founder was exposed for donating to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Festival owner Cameron Collins, founder and president of Brew Ha Ha Productions, donated $225 to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The donation became public in 2025 and garnered criticism and backlash from fans and artists on this year’s lineup.
He responded at the time with a statement that read, “Like many Americans, my political views don’t neatly fit into a single box or party affiliation. I believe in fairness, humanity, free expression, and fostering unity among people. That’s how I’ve tried to live my life and conduct my business.”
The multi-city festival was scheduled to hit Orlando May 2. Other dates included Pittsburgh on April 18 and Vallejo, California, on May 23. Headliners included the Dead Kennedys (minus founding voice Jello Biafra), The Adicts, Fear, Agnostic Front, Leftover Crack and more.
Punk in the Park announced the cancellation Friday via social media.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the Punk in the Park road show events scheduled for 2026,” a post on the fest’s official Instagram reads.
The announcement goes on:
“Unfortunately, the current climate surrounding the events has created challenges that make it impossible for us to move forward in a way that delivers the experience our fans, artists, and partners deserve.”
The Adicts pulled out of the shows the night before the announcement came, attributing their exit to political reasons.
Dropkick Murphys dropped out of the festival last summer, stating, “Punk rock and Donald Trump just don’t belong together.”
The Dead Kennedys announced recently they had become aware of Collins’ donation to the Trump campaign, but remained committed to playing their scheduled dates out of respect to their fans. They said they would not play future Punk in the Park events.
In a statement, the band wrote, “Dead Kennedys have always stood firmly against authoritarianism, racism, and fascism.”
That move was met with a bite from founding Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra, who wrote in a statement to Stereogum, “They’re taking the money $$$, and THEN pulling out? The real Dead Kennedys would never have let this happen in the first place.”
Bands that previously exited the 2026 lineup include Destiny Bond, Time X Heist, 8 Kalacas, N8NOFACE and Naked Aggression.
Brew Ha Ha Productions’s annual events include Punk in Drublic, Summer Roots, Silverado Showdown, OC Boo Ha Ha, Brew Ho Ho Holiday Ale Festival, Brew Ska Ska, Camp Anarchy and more.
