The Match.com for pets and their prospective owners is finally here.

PawsLikeMe.com is a new pet adoption website launching Wednesday, and, according to the Orlando Sentinel, the site "uses a series of questions about your personality, lifestyle, likes and dislikes to find your ideal pooch from adoption listings across the country."

The company's CEO and co-founder Elizabeth Holmes, of Cocoa, tells the Sentinel that she and her cofounders came up with a formula that matches you with dogs nearby that are at government shelters, rescue groups and nonprofit organizations.

"Oftentimes, people would return a pet because they'd made a bad decision," Holmes says. "Seventy percent of pets [change families] more than once in their lifetime. We knew there had to be a better way."
