Few classical musicians have crossed over into the mainstream in the way that legendary cellist Yo Yo Ma has. From collaborations with John Williams and Bobby McFerrin to his Silk Road Ensemble and being named a U.N. Peace Ambassador, Yo Yo Ma has worn many, many hats. And now Orlando music fans will have a chance to see the man up close and personal, thanks to the Orlando Phil.

Yo Yo Ma will be playing a one-night-only engagement in tandem with Colin Jacobsen (violin), where the duo will take on Brahms’ Double Concerto with the Orlando Philharmonic backing them up.

Yo Yo Ma plays the Bob Carr Theater on Tuesday, May 8, at 8 p.m. Tickets for this event go on sale on Friday, Jan. 26, and can be purchased here.
