Have you been meaning to check out the new-look Ace Cafe, now fully settled into their digs at the former Horstmeyer Farm & Garden space in Sanford? Have you also been meaning to rhythmically rampage to some rockabilly?
We’ve got you sorted on both counts, tiger. The Reverend Horton Heat, the seminal 1990s punkabilly band that took the alternative nation by storm (and did a fair bit of ear demolition at the Social/Sapphire back in the day), are coming to christen the Ace with a live set. It’s a late-afternoon show outdoors, and local punks the Hamiltons open. This is definitely a big weekend for fans of rockabilly shows outside.
4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, Ace Cafe Sanford, 115 N. Laurel Ave., Sanford, acecafesanford.com, $13.48.
