
Seemingly ageless power-pop armada Cheap Trick — seriously, these gents are in their 70s — are returning to Orlando with a new album of songs to show off.
The band, anchored by stalwarts Rick Nielsen on guitar and vocalist Robin Zander, just released newest collection All Washed Up and are back in Florida already after gigs supporting Styx in February. Bassist Peterson recently told American Songwriter that they’ll “keep going until they drop,” and for fans of sugary-sweet earworm pop hooks melded to eccentrically arena-ready riffs and over-the-top solos, that’s great (if not slightly dark-humored) news.
