Poptone revisits Bauhaus, Love & Rockets and Tones on Tail at the Beacham

This is a dream come true for goths and alt-rockers “of a certain age” and darkly inclined young’uns: Poptone is Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins of Bauhaus, Love and Rockets and Tones on Tail – joined by the musical shot-in-the-arm that is Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompé on bass – running through the greatest moments of all three groups. Expect a postpunk primer. And expect the absolutely unexpected in the form of surprise opener Geneva Jacuzzi, a bonkers hybrid of futuristic theatrics and top-drawer synth-pop, like Tron crossed with Bowie and Nina Hagen. Arrive early, it goes without saying.

with Geneva Jacuzzi | 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 | The Beacham, 46 N. Orange Ave. | 407-246-1419 | thebeacham.com | $30-$40
