Indie-pop star Role Model brings tales of heartbreak to the House of Blues

Role Model’s newest album, Kansas Anymore, is an ode to the end of the artist’s three-year relationship with influencer and YouTuber Emma Chamberlain. Heartbreak hurts, but Role Model — né Tucker Pillsbury — has turned it into something beautiful.

The indie-pop singer-songwriter brings this new suite of deeply personal and folk-tinged songs to the House of Blues Tuesday. Following on the success of debut album Rx, Role Model’s latest release has already racked up over 45 million streams. Fans can expect to hear viral tracks like “Deeply Still in Love” and “Frances” (Chamberlain’s middle name — coincidence?) as well as older fan favorites.
