Glory days of the Edge dance club resurrected at Ace Cafe's Devotion

For a primetime EDM capital of global prestige and signature style in the 1990s, Orlando doesn’t get the credit it truly deserves in dance music history. Many hearts around here still glow with the euphoric memories of those glory days of our hot-burning underground rave scene (the feverish turnout at the AAHZ reunions can attest to that). But in both talent and historical location, this latest all-out reunion party is the most ambitious scene event in ages. The mega lineup is loaded with international golden-era headliners like the Crystal Method, Orlando breakout K5, Dallas breaks champion Kelly Reverb and Baltimore star DJ Who. Equally noteworthy is the top-shelf roster of elite homegrown DJs who achieved national prominence, like drum & bass king AK1200, bass god Magic Mike and breaks heroes Andy Hughes, Stylus, D-Xtreme, Sandy, Rob-E, Noel Sanger and Knightlife. And in a loving nod to Orlando history, this huge revival will once again fill the space that was iconic all-night dance club the Edge with the classic boom that made it and this city legend in the 1990s. Bass heads, rise and reunite.
