Really, what more can be said about Will’s Pub on its big 30th anniversary? OK, tons. But everyone’s been saying so much of it already. Well, the celebration week heads into its glorious homestretch with a stocked trifecta of showcases that pack as much history as quality — two words that, not coincidentally, sum up the legacy of Will’s Pub.
Wednesday’s melodic, punk-leaning lineup features New Eagles, Overdale, Curtains, Justin Goldman performing a How Dare You set, My Druthers and DJ Preston Rockwell III (7 p.m. Sept. 10, $10-$15).
Friday brings the rock, the soul and the heritage with The Legendary JC’s, Blue Streak Mamas and The Ludes (7 p.m. Sept. 12, $20-$30).
Saturday closes with a forward-looking exclamation point when the young, intense roster of Antagonizör, Hutch, Mass Panic and M.A.C.E. brings it home in a blaze of fury and fuzz (8 p.m. Sept. 13, $10-$15).
All told, it’ll be a live continuum of Orlando’s past, present and future, united to celebrate the place that made it all possible. Viva Will’s Pub!
