La Jetee Perfumery is having its grand opening Saturday, June 26

La Jetée owner Joseph Todd claims his new store offers unique perfumes that are unavailable anywhere else in the City Beautiful. Todd is a known name in ritzy spaces, as he owns the bars Bauhaus and Hanson’s Shoe Repair in downtown Orlando.
Todd described his store on its website as “a highly curated boutique perfumery offering niche and indie perfumes.”

Some of the exclusive fragrance brands available at La Jetée are Memo Paris, Vilhelm, Amouage, Masque and Etat Libre.
And if your’re wondering, yes: Told told local website Bungalower that the shop’s name was inspired La Jetee, a 1962 French science fiction film by Chris Marker that’s his favorite.

La Jetée Perfumery and Apothecary has its grand opening at noon Saturday, June 26, at 1217 N. Orange Ave., right across from Lake Ivanhoe Park.
