Raw Travel, the most watched authentic travel show on U.S. commercial television, will feature historic downtown Sanford this weekend, and local chefs are hosting a brunch party on Saturday to watch the premiere episode.

Raw Travel host Robert Rose explored this charming Central Florida town and discovered what we already know and love about Sanford – it's the region's best kept secret, with an eclectic mix of diverse restaurants, craft beer breweries, art galleries, an enviable music scene and natural beauty to spare. The episode was co-produced with Will Henao, founder of the private marketing initiative HistoricDowntownSanford.com.

"I fell in love with historic downtown Sanford the first time I visited," Rose said in a statement. "I was surprised by the relaxed vibe and the variety of food, entertainment and outlets for artistic expression. But it’s the friendly, proud and tolerant locals I treasure most."

The Raw Travel episode featuring Sanford will premiere Saturday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 24, on WESH 2 and WKCF 18 in Orlando.

The brunch party where the episode will be streamed is on Saturday at Celery City Craft with early entry starting at 9:30 a.m. for VIP brunch at 10 a.m. General admission goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Raw Travel episode featuring Sanford will start at noon.

The brunch will be catered by Chef Josh Oakley, formerly of The Smiling Bison, as well as Chefs Guillermo Herrera and Andrew Axmacher from The Pass Progressive Cuisine.

Tickets are $50 for the VIP brunch and include early entry, guaranteed seating, bottomless mimosas, one craft beer from Wop's Hops Brewing Company and an entry into Via Airlines' two-ticket giveaway.
