PR’s Taco Palace closes Winter Park location

PR’s Taco Palace, a local Tex-Mex institution for almost three decades, is closing its Winter Park location.

Scott Joseph’s Orlando Restaurant Guide reports owner Perry Inman is closing the restaurant at 499 W. Fairbanks Ave. for a number of reasons, including issues with the building and a lack of parking partially because of SunRail operations nearby. Inman said he may start looking for another location to replace the Winter Park restaurant.

“It’s sad to leave,” Inman told Orlando Restaurant Guide. “I’m sad, but we’ve had fun.”

Don’t worry, though – you can still get your at PR’s taco fix at the College Park location at 717 W. Smith St.
