New gastropub The Edison will open New Year’s Eve in Disney Springs

After accidentally tweeting the opening date last month and quickly deleting it, The Edison at Disney Springs will finally, and officially, open this New Year’s Eve.

The Edison, a “fully immersive gastronomic experience” themed after a gothic-style power-plant, is currently selling $150 tickets to their grand-opening party on Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the big event include appetizers, and beer and booze from 8 p.m. until midnight. Of course, a midnight toast is also included. Guests will also be treated to live entertainment.

The Edison is owned and operated by the Patina Group (who also own Morimoto Asia) and are expected to open their other Disney Springs projects Maria & Enzo’s, Enzo’s Hideaway and Pizza Ponte in the next few months.
