This could be you.
There's an inner Garfield the Cat in all of us when it comes to layered sheets of pasta with ricotta, mozzarella, red sauce and ground beef (or not, no judgement). For true lasagna lovers, July 29, National Lasagna Day, should be sacred. Here are three restaurants around town with notable noodles.

Buca di Beppo
(multiple locations)
This week, through July 31, your neighborhood Buca is celebrating National Lasagna Day with 50 percent off either a Buca Large or Small lasagna entree. All you need to do is show up with this coupon and order.

The Rusty Spoon
55 W. Church St., 407-401-8811, therustyspoon.com
Kathleen Blake's "remodeled lasagna" is a mainstay on this bistropub's menu, and for good reason. It's a freeform rendering of the casserole with a "mélange of local and wild mushrooms with wilted spinach, roasted butternut squash, shaved pecorino and brodo" (Italian bone broth).

Brio Tuscan Grill
(multiple locations)
This national "upscale casual" chain has decided to make a mutant lasagna to celebrate the national layered-pasta day. Brio's version is a combo of eggplant parmigana with lasagna, a fully veg-friendly version, with fried eggplant slices, roasted red peppers, spinach and mushrooms sandwiched between pasta sheets with red sauce and mozzarella. We can dig (into) it.
