The History Center’s popular craft cocktail series returns this week with a diabolical theme for the season. Back in 1938, the murder of Dolores Myerly at the San Juan Hotel shocked locals. It involved a poisoned bottle of whiskey inadvertently given to Myerly by a man who had no idea it was poisoned. Naturally, cocktails at this month’s event will be based on Cooper’s Craft Bourbon. Just let the bartenders know to hold the cyanide.
