The 100,074-square-foot market and food hall, whose opening we first reported in 2021, will take over the old Super Target space at 7501 W. Colonial Drive. As the first Florida outpost, it’s set to offer specialty groceries, ready-to-cook items, housewares and a slate of authentic Asian (and Asian-fusion) vendors dishing out dine-in meals.
Orlando’s H Mart will house options including Korean-style Chinese cuisine from Paik’s Noodle, authentic Korean cold noodles and tofu soups from U Chun, Korean street food from Jaws Tapokki, Korean barbecue and tofu soups from Myung Ga, Korean corn dogs from Oh K-Dog & Egg Toast, tonkatsu from Chidon and breakfast and lunch bites from Eggcellent Sandwich & Coffee.
Additional restaurants onsite will include Coffee & Co, Dabang, Kung Fu Tea, and an outpost of international bakery Paris Baguette — which has current locations in Winter Park and Winter Garden.
Other shops include K-Beauty skincare brand Aritaum, Korean and Japanese character and home goods store Artbox, Dodo Hair & Head Spa, Korean-founded photo studio Haru Film and Kiddleton Japanese-style claw machine games.
The Asian food palace will also host yet-to-be-announced specialty tenants, including dessert shops, cosmetic retailers, stationery and lifestyle stores, hair salons and entertainment-focused business, H Mart says.
“We are expanding to Orlando and bringing our passion for Asian food culture to the community,” H Mart President Brian Kwon said in the release. “We will provide the same shopping experience that you already love, with the same high-quality food and service.”
And while the chain holds off on releasing an official opening date, they are currently hiring for all positions.
