Distinctive name, distinctive subs

Seen one sub, seen 'em all? Then you haven't met the chicken teriyaki creation at new Quizno's Subs in Winter Park. Anything but ho-hum, the sandwich is juiced up with teriyaki sauce, pineapple strips and Catalina dressing.

If you prefer old standards, you can have them, too -- hot meatball and classic Italian subs are top requests from those who crowd into the small cafe during the noon rush. Subs come in three sizes, in the $3.50-$7 range. Unless otherwise requested, each order is oven-baked to melt the cheese, warm the bread and bring out the flavors.

The upstart Quizno's Sub chain is quickly expanding into Orlando, with shops already in the Altamonte and West Oaks malls, and more in the works, including two downtown sites.
