Essay question: Why I should drink here?

This is one of the longest-established watering holes in Thornton Park, and the people- (and dog-) watching is stellar. As noted above, Wildside is technically a restaurant, not just a bar – but they have no problem with tables who want to kick back with a few rounds of beers and maybe an appetizer. Along with the casual beer-and-BBQ vibe, there is a small menu of “wild drinks,” so anyone who’s intrigued by the idea of drinking a “chocolate bonfire,” for example, can scratch that itch here – but we’d stick to beer; it goes better with brisket.
